Often we receive donations to the team, sometimes through Charity Giving or personally, and sometimes following an incident in which we have assisted, but at other times folk just simply thinking of us and our service to the community. No matter how large or small, we really do appreciate these donations and they all help in the furtherance of our service.

We endeavour to thank everyone individually but sometimes the donations are made anonymously or regularly and we are unable to thank the doners. We use this opportunity therefore to sincerely thank all those who support us in whatever way………thank you!

We are currently able to claim 25p for every £1 donated.

For us to claim Gift Aid you must be due to pay Income Tax / Capital Gains Tax equal to or greater than the tax reclaimable on your donation, but if you are a higher rate tax payer you can also claim tax relief by recording the donation on your Annual Self Assessment Tax Return.

The easiest way is for you to simply send your donation to the address below, providing your full name and address including postcode, confirming that you are a UK tax payer and noting that you would like your donation to be subject to Gift Aid.

Cheques should be made payable to Oban Mountain Rescue Team and sent with your declaration to:
